Cookie Policy

This policy explains how HACCP PILOT, operated by BRAND IQ, uses cookies and similar browser storage. Cookies are small data files; local storage lets a browser remember information on a device.

Some storage is required to provide a secure service. Optional analytics storage and events are used only after consent.

This category is always active because HACCP PILOT cannot provide the requested service reliably without it. It may include:

• Authentication and security: session information used to keep signed-in users authenticated and protect accounts.
• Consent: your analytics preference, policy version and the time it was saved.
• App preferences: interface state and device choices needed to remember requested settings, such as navigation or printer preferences.
• Payments: cookies or similar technologies set by Stripe when you ask to open checkout or manage a subscription, for payment security, fraud prevention and completion of that request.
• Infrastructure: short-lived security, load-balancing or error-diagnostic data that may be required by the hosting platform.

These technologies are used to perform a contract, provide a service you request, secure the service, or support our legitimate operational interests. They are not used for advertising.

With your permission, HACCP PILOT records limited first-party milestone events such as viewing pricing, starting a trial, creating a first location or record, generating an inspection pack, or starting a subscription.

These events may include the signed-in user and business identifiers needed to avoid duplicate or misleading counts. They never include food-safety record contents, uploaded documents, health answers or advertising profiles. Optional events are blocked before consent and after rejection or withdrawal.

HACCP PILOT uses Lovable Cloud infrastructure for hosting, authentication, database and private file storage. Stripe handles subscription checkout and billing when you request those services. These providers may use strictly necessary cookies or storage under their own privacy information.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural advertising, Google Analytics, social-media tracking pixels or similar marketing trackers.

Session storage may last for the signed-in session or for the period required to keep a user securely signed in. Preference storage remains until it expires, is replaced, or is cleared from the browser.

Your HACCP PILOT consent choice remains on that device until you change it, clear browser data, or a new policy version requires us to ask again. Stripe and infrastructure providers determine the duration of their necessary technologies.

You can accept all, reject optional analytics, or manage categories when the banner first appears. Rejecting analytics does not prevent sign-in, food-safety records or requested payment services.

Cookie settings

You can also clear cookies and local storage using browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, reset app preferences and cause the consent banner to reappear.

We may update this policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The updated date appears above, and we will request consent again where required.
